Mailing your t-shirts. Tips to make less stressful.

Mailing your t-shirts to a quilter can be stressful.  

 T shirts hold a lot of memories and cannot be replaced. Stories of packages being stolen off porches are reported everyday. Stolen packages are rarely recovered. Packages from Amazon can be quickly replaced but your collection of t-shirts cannot.

For many years we have used USPS and UPS and a package has never been lost or stolen.  The process is a lot more secure with GPS tracking of packages.

We cannot stop theft after packages are delivered but we can minimize the risk. 

  1. Your t-shirt quilt is mailed home by USPS Priority Mail.
  2. Signature confirmation is added that requires someone to sign for your t shirt quilt. Your package is not left on the porch or at the door.
  3. Your T Shirt quilt is shipped the next business day after we receive payment so you can judge when your box should arrive. Priority mail usually takes 2-3 days.

We will send  a tracking number by email. You know when your package is out for delivery. The delivery date can be changed at  USPS.com or you can instruct the post office to hold your package. 

  Recommendations for mailing your shirts:

  1. Make sure the order form with your name and address is in the box.
  2. Securely tape the box.
  3. Use the correct size box. If you over stuff your box it can split open and shirts could fall out. If you use a box that is way too big it can get crushed and shirts can fall out.
  4. Mailing USPS Priority or by UPS for faster delivery.

 Your box of shirts is delivered. YAY! You will receive an email within 24 hours.
