Project Repat quilt compared to EggMoneyQuilts Budget Friendly T-shirt Quilt

Let's compare a t-shirt quilt from Project Repat to the Budget Friendly tshirt quilt we make at EggMoneyQuilts (EMQ). I hit the thrift stores and bought 16 shirts to send to Project Repat. Project Repat refers to their product as a quilt but technically it is a blanket. A quilt has 3 layers: a front, batting in the middle , and a back. Their blanket has 2 sides. The t shirts on the front side and fleece on the back.  Project Repat's packaging materials refer to the blanket as a quilt. I think they know the difference so I am…

We have to cut the design out and then piece it to make it usable. That adds extra seams and extra seams add weight to the t-shirt quilt. It takes…
